Busy August...

Since the beginning of August the acro circuit is travelling all around the Alps, going from one competition to the other and hunting for good training conditions inbetween. In these weeks it is always very hard for me to keep updated the website (especially without a computer) so sorry for that, but I try to manage the delay. I am very happy to tell that Gabor is back again after his injury and despite he did his first acro flight on the training day of Vertigo we are competing together again! We are now in Switzerland, Interlaken to have some rest and prepare for the last World Cup event of the year at lake Garda, in the beginning of September!
So, let's see the results of the last comps in brief:

Vertigo Swiss Riviera

New sponsors, great weather, lots of pilots, 3 runs in all category, big organization, excellent raft crew, many spectators and a fun expression session with money awards! Vertigo 2007, the biggest acro competition was even bigger than last year, celebrating the 10th anniversary of the event! Cool!

Acroaria

This year the main attraction for the public of Omegna was a great acro show on Sunday, performed by all the competitor pilots who were free to make big groups and nice choreographies. The best 3 was choosen by the organization and the applause of the audience, and got money awards during a funny diving price giving ceremony. From Monday till Wednesday the World Cup was held:

Paranoia Acrobatixx

The 3rd Paranoia in Zell am See was part of the World Cup Tour this year, for the first time in the history of the event. With a lot of participants (solo only, as usual), 3 successful runs and in the final, a freestyle expression session with helicopter drops...hmmm :-)
