Hello acro fellows,
I'm looking for an advice regarding the use of Charly Quick-out carabiner with a Supair Acro 4. One of my rescues is a Rogallo and I'm sure that being able to disconnect the wing under a rescue is a good idea.
The problem is that the max width of the charly quick-out is 34mm and the Acro 4 attach is clearly wider. I've asked to Supair if it is ok to "tamp" the attach in the 34mm carabiner, but their answer was logically "no". I know that a lot of Acro 4 users do that, but I would like to know your opinions. risky? not risky? Or do you know another quick-out compatible carabiner?
Thanks!
Alain
