1st scene
Glider: Airwave Magic „L” (DHV 2-3)
Note: The pilot expected to do his first looping with an underloaded glider. He pulls the brake very hard so he enters a Tumbling instead of a Looping (he passes vertically above the glider, instead of rolling from one side to the other). He is not prepared for this situation at all (don’t know what to do!), so he doesn’t brake the glider and it shoots forward very violently, but without enough energy to complete one more turn…
2nd scene
Glider: Airwave Sport 2 „M” (DHV 1-2)
Note: The pilot wanted to do a Mac Twist, but he’s not able to spin the glider so it enters a Tumbling with not much energy. He is not prepared for this situation at all (don’t know what to do!), so he doesn’t brake the glider to exit the Tumbling so it shoots forward very violently, but without enough energy to complete one more turn…
3th scene
Glider: Firebird F18 (18m2 acro glider)
Note: Inside shot of a very high Tumbling. At the end of the second turn the glider shoots forward so violently that the pilot cannot stop it and finally it collapses…
