how is this wing, i flew a airwave burn 21 at about 95 kilos, but kinda stopped acro for a few years and now want to get back into it, how does this wing compair on the negative tricks, im leaning towards the 20m cause if i go to the 22 m ill be at the bottom of the weight range, would that be too light for the dynamic tricks?

I've decided to buy F-Gravity 2. My fight weight is about 80 kgs, so 20mts FG2 will be good for me both dynamic and negative maneuvers.

Thanks for your review, Nelson. =)

Wouldn't it be nice if all pilots were so sharing and eager with their videos in our community, progression in the small sport would develop much quicker. Well done to you and hopefully you'll be higher up for your connections, that place looks very low.
I can just see some pilots thinking that you should not have done a video like this unless you were paid by Nuviuk, but don't worry about them bro, a bunch of us think the same as you do ;-) Keep the passion, thank you for sharing.

Hello my friend, of course:

The FG2 is hotter than rolling, that is for sure. In homologated freestyles, you can feel the wing holding its energy in roll movement and surges. A few days i tryed a Gradient Freestyle 2 22mts, from a friend from austria. He is still working in his helicos and the wing looks very, very safe with very easy deep stall.

If you are starting with negative maneuvers, i think you should start with Rolling, Octane FLX, Icaro Instinct or gradient freestyle with low loading. Ah, and also the Dudek Freeway (new wing from friend of mine)

I have to be very conservative and precise in choosing my wings because of low height. If you have lots of height, and a lake, you can surely go for FG2, Gradient freestyle 2, or a Bigger U-turn Thriller/buzzard/emilie, etc.

Hope this helps! :D

Hey!

Great job there, thank you Nelson.

As I understand from your other videos, you are experienced pilot and have tried a lot of wings. Can you please compare F-Gravity 2 with Rolling or maybe any other freestyle wings you've tried? Actually, I just wonder which one is much forgiving about negative moves.

Thanks again.

" I just wanted to help the new guys, who are usually ignored so they can continue progressing and motivated. " -Nelson.

True words. Acro paragliding and European culture are generally quite selfish or closed. But people like you will make the difference regardless of infinity, comps, test piloting, design, R&D. Keep caring and keep flying. Come hit Organya with me this end European season before the world ends ;-)

Hello Mike, thanks for the words :)
I envy all you guys with that massive altitude, here we practice with just this 190 meters, just for one maneuver, and very short connections, but it is all we have and we feel grateful. hehe :P (We have to be very precise, otherwise a water salad splash!) If the world doesn´t end in 2012, i will go to organya 2013! Yeahhh!!!

Regarding to the nature of this video, and pilots talking about it: Well, it is true, i just did this for pure passion and fun (i don´t live from paragliding), i have my own personal bussiness and acro paragliding is my passion, my therapy. I am no pro pilot to be super sponsored by niviuk. Just love flying as all "soulflyers" out there.

...And, i think there is a small group of pilots who are starting acro or just trying to advance (like me), usually, comments and attention go to the pro´s and the "infinity-doers". I just wanted to help the new guys, who are usually ignored so they can continue progressing and motivated.

At last, the benefit is for all of us, as you mentioned in making grow this sport!

Hope to see you in the are someday :D

Nelson.
